Jeffrey Westman

Jeffrey brings decades of managerial and business experience to his work as a Social Entrepreneur. During 12 years in Scandinavia, Jeffrey served as VP of Business Development at Modern Times Group, before launching and leading Yahoo! Sweden, Norway, and Denmark—later founding Elicious.com, an online multilingual recipe database. In California, Jeffrey has served as Executive Director to Marin Organic and Dev. Director at Sonoma Land Trust, as well as serving on the boards of Cal. FarmLink, Kitchen Table Advisors and Summerfield Waldorf.

As an art director and designer, Susanne integrates design excellence with audience needs and communications goals. She has helped many global non-profits make positive impact, as well as publishers of art and culture, filmmakers, and entrepreneurs. From UNICEF, Stanford University, and Levi Strauss & Co. to Chronicle Books and Robert Mondavi Winery, Susanne creates communication tools for organizations to stay relevant in our ever-changing world.

A licensed physical therapist for more than 40 years, Alain has owned physical therapy practices, rehab clinics, and assisted living communities. At his 40-bed residential care facility, residents routinely use medical cannabis as a treatment, which, he says, works “day and night” to regulate behavior, calm anxiety, facilitate activities of daily living, and enhance interpersonal relationships. Alain also serves on the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging advisory council that makes recommendations to the County’s Board of Supervisors. He is a member of the Section on Aging for Sonoma County and the Legislative Committee at the Area Agency on Aging, and a Board member for the Sebastopol Senior Center.

Dr. Phillip Grob, MD

Dr. Phillip Grob, MD, is a geriatric psychiatrist in practice for more than 20 years in hospital, residential care, and primary care environments. His geriatric specialty of patient support includes assessment, counseling, and education regarding medications and treatment, lab work, and documentation with care plans for diagnosis, and administration of treatment procedures. Dr. Grob is an expert in the practical application of cannabis for pain and symptom management through chronic illness, including Alzheimer’s disease, and in hospice care. He is based in Santa Rosa.
